WORLD AIDS DAY

There is no other word that instills as much fear and helplessness as AIDS. For every 100 people living with HIV and AIDS 61 are men and 39 women. As per data avilable with NACO (National Aids Control Organisation) the 2006 estimates suggest naitional adult HIV prevalence in India is approx. between 2 and 3.1 million people. More men are HIV positive than women. AIDS (acquired immune deficiency syndrome) is a deadly disease faced by the man kind.
We at Agnes Education Society are trying to do our bit by organising awareness programmes, sex education programmes for the benefit of those people who really do not have any exposure to such programmes other wise.

AGNES EDUCATION SOCIETY is a society established with the sole objective of offering vocational training to youth to enable them to stand on their two feet and earn a decent livelihood for their families. We believe that each and every individual has an inborn capacity to take up some activity, job or profession to suit his satisfaction. Most of the times it is the mistake that the youngsters make by not choosing the right path in life. We wish to help such youngster first by helping them to decide the career they wish to choose and then go on and work in that direction.
